Trust Achievements

Education

Establishment of two Senior Secondary Schools, one each at Jhansi and Datia, one Middle School at Lalitpur and with a total strength over 3700. The present turn over of these Schools is over Rs. 3.5 crores, which is likely to go up by one crore in the current financial year. The Trust is also planning to start a Polytechnic College shortly at Jhansi.

Over 12000 sq.ft. space has already been constructed for an Ayurved Research Building in the Bundelkhand University of Uttar Pradesh, in the name of Pt. Ram Narayan Sharma by Pt. Ram Narayan Vaidya Trust in collaboration with Pt. Ram Narayan Vaidya Trust.

Over Rs. 2.62 lacs were distributed as scholarship for the promotion of Sanskrit language.

The Trust has distributed an amount of over Rs. 307.00 lacs towards promotion of education. The statement of the amount donated by Pt. Vishwanath Sharma Hindu Charitable Trust, Jhansi in the field of education.

Social Service

  • During the Gujarat & Latoor earthquake, the Trust collected clothes and household items and distributed to the victims, including cash contribution.
  • The Trust has donated an amount of over Rs.50,000/- towards Kargil & Gujarat Relief Funds.
  • An amount of Rs 13.14 lacs has been earmarked for social development projects, to be undertaken by students and teachers.
  • The Trust organized Rani Laxmibai Jayanti with full patriotic fervour during last 20 years.
  • All other Jayanties are being organised every year

Culture

 

  • Painting, Doll Making and other creative fine arts are encouraged by conducting various competitions and cash awards were given to participants.
  • Classical music concerts and classical dances are staged regularly.
  • Generous donations were given to other cultural organizations in the conduct of various cultural programmes.

 

Of because of the consistent efforts made by Dr. (Pt.) Vishwanath Sharma pursuing the matter at the level of Central Govt. the birthday of Hockey wizard Maj. Dhyanchand on 29th August was declared as the National Sports Day. Every year the whole nation salutes this great player of hockey on 29th August

 

 

Spirituality

  • Recently the Trust organized a colourful Raas and Faag Programme by reputed artists from Mathura.
  • Generous donations of over Rs.5.69 lacs have been given in organizing various religious functions

A huge and colourful Rath (Chariot) has been fabricated on the similar design of Jagannath Puri and taken out during Shri Ram Navmi, Hanuman Jayanti, Persuram Jayanti, Janamasthmi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Pooja and other important religious festivities etc.
