Pt. Vishwanath Sharma Hindu Charitable Trust, established in 1984, is a highly trusted name in the field of Social Service, religious activities, health services and scholarship distribution for deserving & needy students. The trust organises examinations for scholarships in rural as well as urban areas, every year. The candidates who qualify the examination, are honoured with freeship cheques, certificate of merit, memento of the Trust and a booklet named 'Our Ancestors'. Keeping our tradition in mind, Sanskrit Schools are also given financial aid from time to time. The Trust provides financial assistance for religious ceremonies, Colourful procession, Ramlilas, Shivratri, Regional fares and group marriage ceremonies. During social celebrations, fares etc, the Trust arranges for free Ayurveda Camps to assist the rural and urban population with health consultation and free medical aid. The Trust also provides for mobile ambulances for medical aid to reach the remote and backward areas. Free study material and note books are given free of cost to students who lack resources and are financially weak.
The details of the money spent, mainly in the last 10 years so far, in the above mentioned activities are as follows :
The RLPians & students from other schools who achieve 85 % or above aggregate marks in class X are awarded freeship in class XI for studying in our schools. So far, an amount of Rs. 25,54,070/- has been awarded to such 234 brilliant students.
There is a provision of freeship of RLPS faculty members. Under this scheme Rs. 56,20,774/- has been given to 1,157 teachers' wards who have been benefited till date.
In our institutions, the fee concessions of Rs. 7,21,408/- have been given to 305 wards of Army personnel.
An amount of Rs. 1,20,48,857/- has been gifted as brother - sister fee concession so far.
Trust has gifted computer - units to Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Datia Gate, Saraswati Vidhya Mandir Ucchatar Madhyamik Vidhyla Datia Gate, Maharaj Agrasen Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Shivapuri Road, St. Mary’s Inter college Sipri Bazar, Maharani Laxmibai Bal Mandir, Jhansi under "Hole in the wall" Project. Recently 25 Computers have been provided to the needy schools. Very Shortly another set of 25 Computer- systems will be gifted to the Schools in backward areas.
